DIY Day.. Paint an Ombre wall..

As you know, everyone here at Jode Designs loves a good DIY project.. So when we saw this DIY Ombre painted wall we couldn't wait to show you!!

Ombre is very popular at the moment (especially with hair colour)..
And it really does work beautifully on a large open wall space..
Having the depth of colour at ground level, then bringing it up so it softens as it reaches the top, gives the wall and the room a calming and a 'not so' invasive feel..

Here are the steps on how to get your Ombre wall..

And you don't need to be limited on colours.. You can stick to one colour or choose two/three different colours which compliment themselves.. Blend them to flow or define them to stand out.. Here are some other Ombre walls for inspiration..

If you love the idea of an Ombre wall but don't feel confident in doing it.. Or are not in a position to be able to create one (renting etc) then why not start off with a wall art..

Now to find a spare wall in my home to create an Ombre wall myself!! Enjoy..
