Well we are definitely on the count down here at Jodé Designs, with 8 weeks to go until we invite our new family addition into the world, we certainly have 'baby' on the mind.. Which is what inspired this weeks restored projects.. Enjoy..

This gorgeous wooden rocking horse is cm in height x cm in length x cm in width...  It is painted dark beige with a slight shabby chic look...  Its real character comes in the sandy mane and tail, fabric cushion and rope reign which makes the horse come to life...  Definitely a keeper for any child's room or play area...

 This restored wooden high chair stands 95cm in height x 44cm in width (59cm with tray) x 41cm in depth..  It is painted light grey with a slight shabby chic style.. It comes with a cushion base which is easily removable to wash.. The tray is adjustable and is able to come off if you wish to put the highchair against the dining table.. This is a very sturdy high chair and very easy to clean..

Furniture.. Furniture.. Furniture..

We have been so busy buying, sanding and painting here at Jodé Designs that we have barely had a chance to post some of our last projects..

But finally here they are!!

This first collection of furniture sold so well the first time we restored it we decided to repeat the design again - and you wouldn't believe it but they have sold straight away!!

These set of three wooden bar stools are painted cream with a shabby chic look.. And of course sheet music deco on top, which seems to be what catches every bodies eye.. Enjoy..

This wooden bedside table has been painted glosss white with a shabby chic look..

This long wooden coffee table is painted gloss white with a shabby chic look.. The fun part was creating the art deco on top - a collection of black and white pictures which tie into the same 'vintage' theme.. It measures

Enjoying more baby furniture...

This week at Jodé Designs we have enjoyed restoring some more beautiful baby furniture... And here they are... Enjoy...

This devine wooden rocking chair is delightfully comfortable to sit in... It is made from solid wood and has a high back which is great for breastfeeding/bottle feeding... The chair has been restored with a shabby chic look in mind, painted in a soft cream and comes complete with a matching cushion which ties to the rails for support... The chair measures 100cm in height, 59cm in width and 73cm in depth.

A must have for any nursery or child's room... Enjoy...

In love with music notes...

Everyone at Jode Designs is truely in love with music notes and this weeks gorgeous find is no exception...

As soon as we saw this gorgeous dressing table we couldn't think of anything else...

Painted cream with a shabby chic look, it stands 160cm in height x 107cm in width x 47cm in depth... The unique part is the lovely antique scalloped mirror and door handles which sends you back in time... Enjoy..

Getting Clucky...

As the furniture keeps rolling in and being restored, we are still getting 'clucky' about baby furniture...

A little shabby... A little rustic...

At the moment everyone at Jodé Designs is enjoying exploring different types of 'interior furnishings'... This week we explored the shabby chic look and also the rustic industrial look..

This first piece is so sweet I was tempted to keep it for the new nursery... This bedside table with single drawer has been painted cream with a shabby chic look... This second piece is a rustic industrial side/hall table... It has been painted grey with a rustic look... It stands 63cm in height x 81cm in width x 35cm in depth... We loved putting the vintage world map on top and can just imagine how great it would look in a entrance hallway... Enjoy..

More Vintage Finds...

This week at Jodé Designs we have some more Vintage Finds...

(I seriously can't stop my husband from shopping at the moment!!)

 

This first Vintage Find is a large cabinet with wooden veneer drawers and doors..

It would be a great piece for any lounge or media room.. Measurements are 211cmx41cmx80m.. and we just love the cute metal handles and original skinny wooden legs with metal caps.. Enjoy..

This second Vintage Find is a cute retro bedside table which we have restored...

It has been painted cream with original laminate drawers...

It would be a great piece for any bedroom.. Measurements are 45cmx40cmx60cm..

and we just love the fancy handles and and original skinny wooden legs with metal caps.. Enjoy..
